AUTUMN SEASON 2008
NOW
PICKING
UPDATE 8-May-08
The crop is entering its final weeks now and although the cold, rain, hail and the birds
have done some damage there are still reasonable quantities of berries to pick.
It will take roughly 40 minutes to pick 1Kg of ripe red raspberries and you will need to walk several hundred metres. I expect the crop to last untill the
end of May with the time required to pick 1Kg increasing as we near the end of the month.

The Kinglake Raspberries 2008 Autumn Season opened
for picking on the 20th March and will continue for about eight
weeks. We expect the crop to be at its most productive from the end
of March through to the end of April.
